Air Mobility

SkyDrive's goal is to help short-hop flights become a regular part of city life, just as cars are today. SkyDrive's compact aircraft can take-off from roof tops and parking lots, transforming every corner of the city into a convenient aerial hub. This new form of air mobility does more simply avoid traffic (although it does that too!). Travelling straight to your destination in comfort while viewing the city from the air — it's a whole new travel experience. The SKYDRIVE removes barriers to movement, opening up a whole new world of mobility.
easy to access
Our precise, advanced flight control systems let our aircraft take off and land in locations inaccessible to conventional rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft, including clearings and rooftops.
compact
The small size of the aircraft allows access to all existing heliports and other smaller plots of land. A smaller craft and smaller vertiports means lower upfront investment, making it easy to launch commercial flight operations.
safe
Our mechanical simplicity provides high reliability, while being fully electric reduces both manufacturing and maintenance costs. Additionally, the system redundancy delivers strong levels of safety.
SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive model SD-05)
Electrically powered aircraft are light and reliable. SkyDrive's compact design provides for flight operations in tight spaces and ease of integration into city transport infrastructure.

Port
Where SkyDrive
Can Land

Turning rooftops and smaller plots of land into vertiports with minimal space.
As of now, only one of Tokyo's roughly 70 rooftop heliports can truly support commercial helicopter use. The compact, quiet SKYDRIVE will be able to take off from rooftops and open spaces that conventional aircraft cannot access. We aim to build an aerial network in and around Tokyo that will connect up to 145 candidate sites.
