SkyDrive held a discussion with the Taiwan Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA), joined by its Taiwanese business partner, 7A Drones, as well as the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a premier research organization in Taiwan.

Together with ITRI and 7A Drones, SkyDrive is working to establish a public-private partnership framework and introduce an eVTOL emergency medical transport model in Taiwan’s Penghu Islands (*1).

In the course of this visit, discussions were held with senior leadership at the Civil Aeronautics Administration, including Director General Ho, Shu-Ping and Deputy Director General Lin, Jiunn-Liang. The exchange centered on the operational prospects for eVTOLs in Taiwan, addressing key institutional frameworks and necessary steps for obtaining Type Certification to support safe operations.

SkyDrive will continue to foster stronger partnerships with key organizations and allied companies, with the aim of advancing the “air mobility revolution” across Taiwan and successfully deploying safe, dependable next-generation air mobility solutions so that air travel becomes a realistic option for everyday life.
